are extremely proud to present this page of images from the research phase
of the Racing Scenes project. Tom has been gracious enough to allow us to
bring you not only photos he took of the Radici and Wise Vega funny car,
but also some of his design drawings used to create the molds for this iconic
series of models. We'd like sincerely to thank Tom for taking the time to
write the story and for allowing us to publish these illustrations and photos.
Aurora's Racing Scenes are, unfortunately a thing of the past. They are,
however, legendary within the history of drag racing models. It is unfortunate
that they didn't perform better in the marketplace. Indeed they well may
have shifted the entire car model manufacturing paradigm. They are, arguably,
