| The
in-progress photos on this page were taken in Ted Guth's shop on New Year's
Eve, 2005. The subsequent photos of the restored car were photographed
at the Gopher State Timing Association* show on April 14, 2007. Sometime
in late 2005, I was contacted by Ted via the StraightLineModeler website,
regarding higher resolution scans of Jim Keeler's original article. I
was happy to provide Ted with a CD of 400dpi files. In return, I was allowed
to deliver the disc to Ted, and take a tour of his shop. At the GSTA*
show, I was fortunate to see the car fully restored, and even more fortunate
to watch Roland Leong fire his old Charger. We at the SLM are very proud
to have provided Ted with information that played an important role in
his restoration. Jim Keeler probably never imagined, all those years ago,
that the article he produced for a modeling magazine would be a critical
piece in the renovation of a drag racing classic! Click thumbnails for
